- I am a board certified pathologist, specialized in laboratory medicine, transfusion medicine, and coagulation. My laboratory focuses on understanding the molecular mechanism of thrombotic thrombocytopenic purpura (TTP) and atypical hemolytic uremic syndrome (HUS) and developing novel diagnostic and therapeutic tools for these rare but potentially fatal disorders.
